This tower has been rumored for awhile, with the SLC forum dubbing it the "450 Main Tower" but until now there has been no official indications of its existence.
This article mentions a "Sundial Tower" with 425,000 sq ft. of office space, developed by Hines.
The JLL report mentioned in the article also says this:

Previously, the rumor was that the design had "incredible geometry" similar to the Bank of America Tower in NYC. It will be exciting to see the renders come out when the project is publicly announced!
The site is likely on the east side of Main Street. Here's a little map with the two possible sites in red:
As an aside, that massive 10-acre parking lot (Block 40) has
an incredible history and it's a shame that the buildings there were demolished in the 80s.
