going by the length of the main span (which is how big span bridges are most frequently compared against one another), this bridge easily has the longest span U/C in the US/Canada at the moment, and is tied with the tacoma narrows #2 bridge for the longest span built in the US/Canada since 1964!!!
and it will be, BY FAR, the longest cable stayed bridge ever built in this part of the world (the current longest cable stayed span in the US/Canada is the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge in Charleston with a main span of 1,546 ft.)
