Saw the site driving by this week, they seem to be progressing super fast. By looking at the renderings, it could be the nicest and largest apartment building in Charlottetown. A much needed addition, considering the shortage of apartments. I am not sure why you think access would be a problem, since it is located on a controlled traffic intersection. The infra-structure at that intersection can handle a lot more growth. Excited to see this project take shape it will be a great addition to Charlottetown. I heard Cordova is doing the project and calling it West Royalty Suites, they have a great reputation of doing high quality projects.

I think we are both talking about a different project. I’m talking about the new pizza shop taking over 480 University Ave (former Subway). A right turn lane or ramp from Belvedere would be great.

I hear you on this! Even if they took a foot and a half off that sidewalk and repainted the lanes you might get a right turn lane in there.

On another note, I've often said put a right hand merge ramp off University onto Belvedere Ave but that would be on federal land and
that would mean the Miꞌkmaq may have to be involved, I believe. They should have done this years ago I say!

Indigenous Urban Centre

This project is moving on. Not one word was said against this project. The NIMBYS aren't targeting it but they
sure are pouring it on against the Haviland apartments to be built behind the old Sacred Heart Home.
The Guardian newspaper is full of opinions against the Haviland apartments. And yet this IUC project will not increase
the people downtown, taxes won't be near the amount sent back to the city and businesses will not benefit that much.
In my opinion, the Haviland will be a lot more beneficial to the city
and still is the main object of NIMBY attacks in the newspaper.

Fitzroy Parkade

The Fitzroy St Parkade is getting there. The street perspective looks better and more complete compared to before when it was not up to the street edge.

UPEI Residence

Foundation work continues but I noticed not at full speed. The foundation at the West Royalty Suites is moving at
full speed, way ahead of this project. I'm not sure why but we should see a crane appear at this UPEI site sometime in the near future.
