Hrmm...just a week or two ago they switched on the lighting of the spire/antennae for the first time (not sure when it was installed). I think they could still do something with this opening that was both movable and less obviously mechanical. Not that I disagree with your assessment of "done" because of a single pane of glass...

^^^Really??? The stay bridge is less of an eyesore than this! At least that isn't seen from the entire west side of the city. Seriously when the sun hits this blank spot, it looks just awful. I can't see how anyone at SOM thinks that this is a visually appealing idea. Spend the extra 10,000-20,000 dollars and finish it right.

at first i had no idea what you where talking about, but that is a tragedy.

it looks so trashy and half-ass like that! JUST PUT IN THE LAST 2 PANELS OF GLASS ALREADY!
