Remember, every floor plate is different. Even if we did have the answer, you'd have basically 150 of them...

The closer you follow this the more you see that things are still going on. What I see is that they are uncovering the 14 dual caissons. I'm not sure why but something is going on there. True a small update not easily seen by the casual observer, but still something to keep you looking in on the project.

Exactly.

One thing though, I've been following this thread forever, and I've seen all of Harry's updates and posted a fair number of my own shots, and I never realized that piles had been drived around the big caisson pairs.

They need to pour pads of concrete on top of the super cassions before they pour the mat correct?

^ it probably doesn't matter if its before or after. it just needs to be done, and its probably easier to do now than starting the mat now

The mat will be poured in the core hole. I believe you're thinking of the plaza surface.

Have you heard if they'll be moving straight on to the mat pour for the core hole once they resume work on the ring beam for the cofferdam.

Or does it look like there might be a bit of a time gap between work on the 7th ring beam and work on the mat?

That I don't know.

I know that there is still the Deep Tunnel access to deal with, but haven't learned anything else.

You can almost see the footprint of the building with the digging around the twin caissons.

They're still digging and drilling.

I just some people needed to know that work was still occurring.

A bit of info:

Butler - make sure your forumers check out the site today. They should start to salivate. LOTS going on today and for the next couple of weeks before we start running new utilities and re-working existing lines (which is what takes the time). All is in good health on-site and things are moving forward as planned. We will have more good news coming.

xxx

Hopefully this will calm some people down.

great news. I will still be nervous until financing is secured. Hopefully they will release some more sales figures soon. I'm surprised the penthouse is not sold yet (if it is in fact not sold, I dont know for sure).

If I was a billionare, I'd be all over it!!! Is it not the highest occupied floor anywhere (living not office)? (I think the burj's top floors are office)

Speaking of financing... my sources just informed me that a very large euro bank has signed on! Now this is not the only lender involved. But since cbotnyse brought it up I thought I should spill the beans.

I expect Kelleher to get all the financing he needs, I just think it will be later rather than sooner. But if this rumor turns out to be true, that be be a huge vote of confidence.
