Here's another close up where you can see the residential portion:

The design matters too.

I missed the stairs the first time. That will be the open atrium section between the buildings with the massive green wall. That will be stunning.

Here’s the model:

I can’t tell if it’s perspective but the stairs no longer look curved.

Not sure. I would guess 8ish?

Edit: Latest I heard was 5 floors. And construction is being temporarily halted because some debris flew off in a windstorm.

Confirmed it's only 5 more floors, including the rooftop amenity level. This is now the second of two recent construction delays due to construction material falling/being blown off the building. It should be topped out by late August I'm hoping.

Also, since I doubt they were posted here, here is the first round of testing back in November on Douglas Coupland's 'Northern Lights' dynamic LED public art feature. The fixture is equipped with unlimited colours and unlimited combinations. It will go through five 12-minute sequences per hour, and every hour on the hour the first sequence will be one mimicking the aurora borealis. The others will be interchangeable.

Love the lights on this one. I'm assuming they are on the outer edges of the windows so they can't be seen from inside. That could be a little annoying if they are visible from offices or units.

Yeah especially during our 16-hour late December nights

Wow, bizarre

I guess he's branched out from writing

By the way, thanks to some of you in this thread using the acronym "BIG" (which was confusing since this building is big), I learned it stands for Bjarke Ingels Group, the architectural firm designing this, which is my new favorite firm. Not to take away anything from Telus Sky since it's a great building but Via 57 West in NYC taught me that there really is such a thing as love at first sight.
