lol like the state would be any better. There's a reason you don't see anything of height for the most part south of Salt Lake and that mentality dominates the legislature.

I kinda agree and to be fair and it is not just SLC that I have complained about... I did not agree with the takeover of SLC's roads but I think exploiting this tension between the city and state is literally the only option atp

State politicians do talk about top-down housing and zoning policy, though, and have in the past cited SLC's obligation to build dense housing given the infrastructure investments in the city

Another surface parking lot, once the development falls through.

I hate seeing demolition on a perfectly-good block when there is a vacant lot next door. The way we permit stuff in America is pretty wasteful.
