Yes. It's the same as with previous elevations: 1474 - 452. The elevations are in the files for pages 77 and 78.

They have a bunch of trailer buildings in the parking lot by their mock up siding now. I'd say things are about to ramp up soon.

Lincoln and Phoenix are both based in Dallas. The former has been extremely active on Austin's downtown development scene. Just two blocks north of Republic Square, Sixth and Guadalupe will soon be the tallest building in Austin. It is slated to be completed in July 2023, Johnston said. Meanwhile, it has proposed what could be the tallest tower in Austin and the state: a 74-story super tower at 98 Red River St. It is set to follow the towers rising on the west side of downtown — Johnston said the development team has a site development permit in hand, but they’ve got “a little bit of administrative work to do there.”

What are the odds of this building changing design again this far along in the process? I remember these renderings from a couple years back and can’t help but feel like they were so much better than what we’re actually getting.

About zero at this point. The construction fencing to close one lane on Red River & Cesar Chavez is still scheduled for 05/14.

The original, better version of a building's design is almost never the one that gets built. They either get value engineered or the company's president's son needs to make a change so he can say he played a part in the design. It's a shame... Austin is getting a nice supertall when it could have been getting a nicer supertall. Still, it will be a good addition to the skyline... one that will make it official that Austin isn't weird anymore.

How are tall buildings incompatible with "weird"? Eeyore's birthday is next week, I bet It's busier than ever.

Hot take here....Austin hasn't been weird for like 15+ years. I don't think this tower will add/subtract a ding dang hoot of weirdness for this city.

As for the design, I overall love the new look, but prefer the continuous exposed levels of the old design. I'm not sure what that style is called, but there's something so classy and 60's about it. I also love the orange panels.

OK, maybe it's an overreaction to a building's design being taken down a peg. And you're right... Eeyore's Birthday and a few other Austin mainstays still do happen. But when I compare Austin's vibe to when I was there in the 80s and 90s, there's a big difference. More than just the time difference.
