Correct, big companies would build homes for workers.

Examples of this would be Housing in Most cites like wawaset in Wilmington, DE which is now a very high class area which was built by can you guess? Dupont.

A big detail we are also missing is homes were built by the factories and businesses in that time especially due to lack of Public Transportation.

Also these areas experienced problems as citied from the article.

So to paint that era as something we need to go back to is not the best example especially with how much better & differently we can do it now.

Im confused? Looking at their catalog of previous rehabs & builds they have good style & unique builds compared to alot of other developers??

We cant shit on every developer because they dont build exactly what we want to spec.

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. It’s Disneyland pastiche. Some people like that I guess. Not my cup of tea for urban architecture...

I think this is a great move! The presence of additional public safety (beyond police) greatly improves the mood and feelings of office workers, tourists, even visitors.
