Wasn't the the era of the great bank robbers? Maybe that a gang of desperados who'd wreaked havoc across the midwest. Double-chin might be kin to Ma Barker.

...But a demon in the sack.

Well, she is wearing a Pearl Necklace! Perhaps an early calling call, no?

THAT'S why tuxedo boy is all smiles.

And Buckeye is correct that all people had to do was fuck. Especially around here. Hell, between Davenport and Rock Island there were over 350 brothels running at any given time between the turn of the century through the 30's. We also had mobsters, vice lords and gangsters when Chicago was still a sweet, innocent city.
Once a minister from New York City, no less, called us the "Wickedest Cities anywhere on earth."......That's when folks liked to use words like "wicked"

MNR: Hello, small local business? We'd like a metric fuck-tonne of your product in 18 hours.

Over-eager boss: ABSOLUTELY!

Between Friday morning and Saturday afternoon, I spent more time at work than at home. Amazingly, it all went off with virtually no glitches.

I'm so thin now that when I see my arm reach for something out of the corner of my eye, I get startled because I think it is a different person.

I sure does. Especially when you get caught hunting without a permit.

I FORGOT TO TELL YOU ALL ABOUT THE HOOKER FIGHT!!!

Around midnight on Friday/Saturday, about 8 hookers got into a big argument in front of my apartment, calling each other sluts, whores, etc., as if that is an insult when it comes from the mouth of a hooker, and after about 5 minutes of the argument, the city transit supervisor went in and broke up the fight. About 15 people walked by at the time, which is unusually high foot traffic for the street, even on a Friday night.

You should have opened your window, turned your volume on high and played the song below.

Oh, I take it you've never heard of Boston, then. Every other word out of their mouths is "wicked" this and "wicked" that.

This has been a fun one to watch.

http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/show...=193023&page=2

I'm a little sad though that Loqy Lion's [now deleted] comeback to people criticizing his plan was to 'have some humility' and 'i am going to make way more money that you.'

Also, one of my roomates is from Boston and though living in NY for three years has flattened his accent, he still uses 'wicked' as a commonplace adjective.

I understand this is an international forum. However this is a difficult read in English. At least they're trying.

I guess I meant used "wicked" as something bad or evil. My brother and his family live in Boston and I've visited them several times and yep "wicked" is uttered quite often. . While sitting on a train there I noticed that while listening to all the talking/conversation din on that train car, the only word I could always pick out was "wicked".
