That’s 2.5 years from now.. seems pretty reasonable to me. It’s actually almost refreshing to see a developer give an actually accurate timeline.

It is quite impressive how fast this development was announced and started! Yet we have The Connoly development on James St just sitting there going nowhere. I'm glad developers like this don't mess around!

I can't recall, did 1 Jarvis end up sharing a wall with Kiwi to save them both a bit of money?

Looks from the aerial photo like there will be 2-3 metres separation

A few photos I took on Thursday, September 2nd.

At the speed Emblem is moving at, one has to wonder if they're trying to become the CentreCourt of the 905s...

That is just the outside of the corkscrew ramp for the above grade parking levels.

They were pouring concrete this morning. I would assume it was the slab footing.

Bit of both. They've started pouring the main slab, and also the crane footings. Looks like they'll be two. This development is flying along, much faster than I expected.

Here's some aerial shots from today for all of your viewing pleasure.

Maple, you should post your pictures to the main Canadian construction thread too, I'm sure folks would appreciate the views.

I am super impressed , and delightful that I was very wrong about my intuition that this areas of King William would be developed so much after many other areas of downtown. It must be difficult to other would be developers holding much more prime envelopes of land watch on the sidelines as these active sites make millions for their owners . Then again, maybe the fact that these are successful just drives the unrealized value of their holdings even higher.

I hope the parking lot across from the police station or the century theatre lot is next. My friend lives on King there, and has talked to the owner of the century theatre property and he's just some old guy holding onto the property. My friend loves she can use it as a personal dog park though.

I would imagine the LRT is going to put some pressure on these land holders to cash in their chips.

I was here today they have two bases of cranes in place. The easterly of the two already had one section in place however they still need to pour the rest of the concrete.

The pour seems to have been done today for eastmost crane.
