Those modern no-rail 'floating' staircases scare me so much. I hate the possibility of falling!
Here are some badly proportioned stairs (well, if you want to roll a heartless body down them they're okay, i guess):

Almost everyone climbing down from there is doing it wrong. When climbing down from a steep incline, you're supposed to do it backwards just like climbing down a ladder. Imagine trying to climb down a ladder facing away from it. My brother is a rock climber.

I was wondering when someone was going to put Titanics staircase on here, or is that the Olympics, whatever, it some White Star Line ship. They now have the Olympics grand staircase in some hotel in England or something like that after they scuttled the ship. Oh, and you can also visit beautiful Branson Missouri to see a replica of that staircase at the Titanic Museum. Lets all go to Branson yall, we'se gon have a grand ole time.

To enter the worlds largest religious building, one must scale the steep steps into the compound
They are near vertical, and horribly narrow
also jokingly known as the Steps of doom, there is an element of truth to it - a Japanese girl recently died falling from these, before the handrail was installed
