Hmm... do you mean the lupins, KW5150?

Beyond that it's really only red in the late fall when the shrubs change colour:

This is a great shot. It does a good job of showing the diversity in Toronto's urban form.

Thanks. it wasn't those ones though. it was a long distance picture of the harbour with a rocky hill on the left with bright red flowers or shrubs. It was posted at around the same time as the giant ferry shots.

I went on a little photo shoot today with the reigning Miss St. John's (Drag Idol). So, a few scenes of the city complete with drag queen,

Victoria Street.

The view from The Rooms.

McMurdo's Lane.

When I was a kid, this part of the street was two way traffic. On the last day of school, our school bus drived would always take us down this hill in the bus.

A little west coast pano:

This is Hopkins Landing on the Sunshine Coast - in the distance are Gambier, Bowen and Keats Island with the Coast Mountains behind. At night you can see the glow of Vancouver (which is just 10 miles away) over Keats and Bowen.

An angle we don't see often. Found on Google Maps taken near my house in NDG

That's Sherbrooke street on the right, av. Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in the middle.

Via updated Google Street View.

My father's hometown.

The old family homestead, we call it the Meadow. My paternal great grandparents were the first to settle here and the land has slowly been divided up amongst the family. When I was young, everyone who lived on this street was related to me. Most still are.

Downtown Marystown in the distance. It's a small town but it's a service centre so it has two proper malls, a couple of strip malls, Walmart, fast food chains, hotels, etc. Quite a lot, actually, for just about 6,000 people.

A beautiful performance of one of the region's most beautiful folk songs, filmed at the local Town Hall.

Video Link

Burin is the older area of town, with much more beautiful architecture and urban form.

There used to be a school right across the street from this house where I would go to learn Newfoundland folk dances.

"Downtown" Burin has a cafe and a very popular dinner theatre but, otherwise, it's mainly directed toward tourists. There is a large and well-equipped museum about the deadly 1929 tsunami that devastated the area.

This is still a favourite place to courting couples to go for a stroll. I brought an ex-BF from Winnipeg here.
