I'd put Bobrovsky in that discussion despite the fact that gaolies aren't usually in the running.
Hard to pick Kucherov from a team with Stamkos, good goaltending and Hedman to boot. He's not the MVP. He's important, but not like MacKinnon or Hall.

My vote probably looks like Rinne, Hall/MacKinnon in a dead heat most days, Bobrovsky, McDavid
I'd also give some love to Stall for Minnesota and Fleury for Vegas, Kessel for the fiirst half of the season in Pittsburgh and Malkin for the rest (so Malkin since Pittsburgh wasn't a playoff team for the first half...
