So, assuming you see drawings in the "near" future, what restrictions are likely to exist on on making any related information public?

WestJet has added new flights to YOW and new same plane service from YEG to YQB.Small additions...But still good.

WestJet adds Ottawa, Quebec City flights

EDMONTON - WestJet is adding daily non-stop service to Ottawa and one-stop flights to Quebec City for the summer.

The Ottawa service starts April 28 with a $159 introductory fare, and Quebec City service begins May 18 with a $199 fare.

"Edmonton, Alberta's capital city, is a key Canadian economic engine and having a new one-stop, same plane service to Quebec's capital city and increased access to our nation's capital are an advantage for our business and leisure travellers, Edmonton Airports CEO Reg Milley said Thursday.

On Westjet's website they only have summer service to Ottawa and increased service to Toronto.

No flights from Edm to Quebec City

Looking at Westjet's website it appears that the Ottawa flight is nonstop while the Quebec City flight is direct (ie stops in Toronto first).

^yeah I know its good. We're doing pretty good when 8.2% growth over the same month 12 months ago is low.
So? What else is cooking at Edmonton International? I wonder if we'll hear of any big news anytime soon

Thats what happens when you have large demand for flights to Europe and beyond...

Its really easy to see that number soar the way it has, its also become a very good marketing tool.Showing what one year round daily nonstop to europe can do gets anybody's attention, they are also slightly higher right now with the number of sunflights being offered...

Good things to come, I promise.
