Hey Dino and yankee fan! good to see quite a few jumping ship! lol

NYguy, Great photo that . . . . will look grand when all towers are complete.

Not seen any night shots from you before Carlos, they look really nice especially now the interior lights are reaching your vantage point above 7wtc, Bet you have a good view of mid town on a night time too.

Does anyone have any information about the lighting and the "N" at the top of the new WTC when they finish it?

Hey Carlos... you were up early today!

I magnified one of your pictures above to take a closer look. Is that the first row of cladding peeking out from your point of view?

I'm jumping ship as well

The 1 WTC thread over at that other site has gotten very lame since that moderator de-railed it over stupid font colors, and banned several of us (myself included for 5 days). I'm loving the flow of updated pictures over here though, I think I'll be sticking around!

Is it possible to stop discussing SkyScraperCity and stick to the topic of this thread? It's lovely that you all decided to have your little boycott but after five pages, it's getting a little old. Not every shot of the WTC has to be accompanied by a comment about SSC. Yeesh.

Now, does anybody know when the glass will reach the highest completed floor? It should be a lot easier to visualize the finished product when the glass catches up.

I think that should happen around the time the roof tops out, if they stay on the 1 floor per week pace. I might be off by a few floors though, math isn't my strong point.

No, that is not glass, that is actually space.....the glass panels start 6 floors down.....I had to go to the garden level just to make sure.

Awwww Poo! I am getting so eager for the day when you can see some cladding. Thanks Carlos for going the extra mile... Ummm... extra floors.... to get me the answer.

P.S. To all the people that complain about one thing or another... Too many posts about this... Too much talk about that... Just give me pretty pictures... and so on... My question to you is: Is your scroll button broken? Or perhaps it takes extreme physical effort to read a couple of words of a post and realize its contents don't interest you and to scroll down to the next.

A little tolerance and patience makes for a better experience for all. Because now I had to scroll passed a bunch of complaint posts, just to get to the one that mattered. Are you not just exacerbating the problem?

Just a thought.

^ Floors 100 & 101 are destinated for the Observation Deck. No public information released about the future of 102nd fl.

* Original plans called for a Restaurant at floors 100 & 101 and an enclosed Observation Deck at 102nd, later the PA flipped them, being 100 and 101 for the O.D.
