^I was driving through Michigan to Chicago a few weeks ago and passed an American Airlines billboard advertising nonstop flights to Philly. They actually used the rendering in that article, which I thought was pretty cool of the ad agency to give a sh*t about a particular city's skyline.

They used one with a completed CITC? My guess is that they don't care and were simply sloppy grabbing a picture from Google images. In fact, the render is the intellectual property of Foster.

For example, I have seen this render used on various sites to show Philadelphia with a building that doesn't exist:

Game on for Friday night. 4100 CY plus (the sides are cut into the rock, so the volume may go up higher) with 4 (maybe 5) pumps and a conveyer....one pump will discharge into a belt conveyor which will dump into the hole. Lots of trucks cycling back and forth from SJA's plant (26th street in the shadow of I95) and Action Concrete (Sharon Hill)......streets around the site will be pretty busy with concrete trucks pulling in, mixing up, discharging and then washing out. It takes a lot of planning and timing to have all the materials ready at the plants, and coordinating the cycling of trucks and placement, but it should go well.

Watching it go in is kind of like watching paint dry, stop in as you leave the bars for a look, then come back downtown for bloody marys Saturday AM and it will seem pretty impressive.

'Rain or shine,' concrete will pour in Center City | Philadelphia Inquirer

Excerpt:
Quote:
Prep work will begin at the construction site at midnight on Friday and the concrete pouring will begin at 2 a.m. The 1800 block of Arch Street is expected to be closed for the duration of the concrete pour. That stretch of Arch Street is planned to reopen at 5 p.m. on Saturday, officials said.

SJA Construction, of Philadelphia, and Action Supply Co., of Sharon Hill will supply the concrete, and B. Pietrini of King of Prussia will operate four pumpers to deliver the concrete to the foundation mat.

To make sure there won't be an interruption in the flow of concrete to the site, SJA Construction and Action Supply will produce the concrete in plants in South Philadelphia and Port Richmond and two in Sharon Hill, officials said.

There will be 50 concrete trucks making the 400 deliveries, with about two-thirds of the trucks coming down Arch Street and the other third approaching the construction site by 19th Street. At any given moment there should be about six concrete trucks emptying their loads.

Great shots, TCO! Thanks for getting and sharing those! Nice to get the detailed perspective on the ground. All you've been able see all night from the aerial webcam is the constant presence of 7 or 8 concrete trucks, along with the concrete boom pumps:

I would have to assume that the lined yellow lines are where the core walls will be?

Yeah, those lines are pieces of lumber covering the stubs of vertical rebar to which more vertical rebar will be attached to reinforce the core walls. I've always assumed that the exposed ends are covered like that before more rebar is attached as a safety precaution, so nobody is injured (or worse) by falling onto the exposed ends.
