That would ruin the effect. What's so cool about Edmonton is the major river valley slicing through a nearly perfectly flat surrounding. It's an impressive level of flat juxtaposed against a significant topographical feature.

I'm just waiting for the day I hear "We have more garbage!""No, we have more garbage!"

Literally anything becomes a pissing match on here.

Yes, I find this discussion to be pretty "flat". One could even say that this is a new "low". No "tall tales" here at all. In sum, not a very "elevating" conversation.

That's funny because Edmonton's largest hill (within view) is an old garbage dump!

I absolutely love those Quebec city pictures, especially the first picture with the reflection from the water.

Same thing for either Regina or Winnipeg, can't remember which though.

Blasphemy! I'll be there in September for a few days, and will have to do my gracious, grudging best to ignore its many architectural shortfalls when it comes to high-rises.

Ha ha, so is Windsor's biggest hill, although it's been a city park now for a few decades now.

+^^^Omg you're right, it almost does look Scandanavian here. Like a scene out of Stockholm or Copenhagen.

Quebec city truly is a magnificent city... so much charm.
