Can someone please take a picture down into the pit? I know they've been delivering steel and it looked on the construction cam like they lowered a big column down there a few days ago.

This pic isn't the greatest due to the reflection, but it is one of the latest - from yesterday:

Thanks, botoxic. I don't see the column, but it was delivered last Friday and you can see them lowering it down on the construction cam.

Going back to our discussion about the final height, I looked at the approval docs and it says approximately 912 roof, 970 mech. parapet, and 1,070 crown. They made all the findings based on those heights, so it looks like that's it unless they go back for an amendment.

You can see the newly poured concrete in the core:

Tried looking for the aforementioned steel beam:

Maybe this is it hiding behind the rebar?

Brantw, nice detective work! That's definitely it in the corner of the pit. We officially have steel!

From Friday, this night shot illustrates the height and volume the new interior formwork adds to the core:

Looks amazing. I can't wait to see the exterior formwork rise up a little more, so we can see the concrete from street level...

On the 18th over about 1.5 hours the form work was raised up. I was checking the Transbay Terminal Mission street camera and it was literally up in the blink of an eye. Here are a couple before and after pictures showing what actually moved. Seeing when the next jump up is should provide some insight into how fast they can get the core up.

Any idea if they will or might have an observation deck?
