• Tallest tower on the West Coast by roof height (2022)
• The current design was selected from a competition comprising two other entries, one by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, the other by the Richard Rogers Partnership
• A taller, earlier design for the tower was 366 m / 1200 ft with 80 storys.
• The Salesforce Tower isl part of the Transbay Terminal redevelopment district that include parks, redesigned streets, and high and lowrise condo and office towers.
