A repeat of the weather we had a month ago: foggy, damp with a cold wind. Garbage night on West Queen West

We got 13.7 mm of rain last night, with a low of 2.6. not very nice, but at least the rain washed away the remaining nasty piles of snow and everything is clean again. This is the fourth day in a row with a low above freezing.

Sun and cloud and -6 at just before noon.

Feels really nice out there today because winds are calm. Compared to a few days ago when it was warmer at -1 but it was extremely windy, it was very unpleasant.

Down south in Kaohsiung now to spend time with family, and the weather is back to what you'd normally expect this time a year. It's still slightly below average, but it was a very comfortable 23c.

Kaohsiung "snowboarding"

Lots of melting going today. Poured rain all morning. Sky over the lake was unexpectedly unique.

Interesting dividing line in the lake. It was like all the melted chunks of ice from the shore floated out into the lake forming a line of sorts

Nice day. The sky was bright and we even got a little bit of sun. No precipitation until supper time.

Friday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 11 C, the low was 7 C.

-1C with a wind chill of -7 and cloudy.

Once again milder last night with a steady temperature around 1C.

The warmspot was Maple Creek, SK at 16.5C. What an incredible heat event the West is having. Too bad we won't experience it.

Warmest low were White Rock and Vancouver, BC at 9.1C

Uh oh. Don't look at Toronto/Windsor 7 day forecast compared to Montreal or you might just hang yourself.

The bullshit thing though. TWN is saying extended Polar Vortex after that. They like to hyperbole and are often just plain old wrong. Hope to fuck they are.

Sunny, -1, and winds are completely calm. Honestly this may be the nicest day we'll get this winter. Sure, we may have days where temperatures are warmer, but calm winds make everything so pleasant.

Why not? This thread is the place for it.

The lifeblood of this thread, and the reason it's so popular is because of the daily images. If it wasn't for SHH, mcminsen, Townguy, flar, megadude, monkeyronin and others, I wouldn't visit this thread at all. My weather app can give me more up-to-date, to-the-minute weather information than anyone in this thread can.

And with that said, here are a bunch of pictures from my day in Kaohsiung. Sunny, and a high of 24c with sightings of a giant duck.

I actually wish you would. It would be great to see some pics of in and around Kamloops. It has one of Canada’ most unique settings. Perfect for sharing on the Wes her thread as the seasons change.

I tend to agree with RHINO. I don't think he is anti-photo but rather against the massive photo-dumps that happen sometimes. The page can get hard to navigate, I end up rifling down the post after I've seen a couple.
