^ The CFL Schedule is kind of goofy but good for the Elkimos. 3 games against Winnipeg in 4 weeks are tough

And remind me, didn't the City want to shut the ball field in the river valley down? If so,

Nice. Now why can’t we do something like that with our ball park and incorporate Rossdale power plant as well as condo development?

Lots of potential for the area but lack of vision. Like a broken record for this city.

Yes we see endless plans come and go - time to action the plan instead of crickets.

Maybe Spruce Grove can have a nice park as can Edmonton and other Alberta cities. Okotoks has done well with theirs.

As for the Islanders I think their goose may be cooked although I hope otherwise. I don’t care for the Lightning.

Grey Cup Dec 12. Tim Hortons should have free hot chocolates for everyone to keep warm in Hamilton

^ If the CFL had an ounce of intelligence they would have moved this Grey Cup to a domed stadium.

Southern Ont. is warmer than you think with climate change these days, but yes, the risk is still there and why the heck would you not go to a dome in Dec...

That said, I'm tempted to hop on a plane in a parka to enjoy some CFL in Dec.

i have mixed feelings about that...

the grey cup is the one canadian game that probably gets the widest television coverage and that audience - as opposed to fans in the stands - is probably weather independent. if anything inclement weather can add more interest to the game as opposed to lessening interest in the game as it can be a great equalizer.

as for stadium attendance, that probably has more to do with who's in the game than the weather that day but ticket sales either way are settled long before game day and are more dependent on who is playing than the weather.
