Here's an idea: if you want to see the water, how about getting out of your apartment and walking two or three blocks to the abundance of parkland and other public spaces that abut Vancouver's waterfront?
Perhaps on the southern side of False Creek shorter or tiered buildings should be a priority to preserve sunlight on the Seawall, but on the north side build tall and dense please.
