Yes, we hope the design evolves a bit as well. Sky's the limit now that the Navcan airport overlay is gone.

Yes, True!

And the collective height of the list will have increased substantially.

As you can tell from my avatar, increasing the size of the collective would be optimal.

Looks like demo is done for Calgary's Telus Sky tower. Westbank has said that excavation was to start in December, so we should that one added to the list soon.

Great news Surrealplaces, lets hope Calgary has a mild winter so work doesn't have to slow down too much.

Once the shoring rigs/excavators are on site, it should be added to the list.

I've always thought of that building as very iconic within Edmonton.

Kinda like Manulife Centre or Thomson Building here.

I have to agree. I know many people will run to it's defense but I think it's one of the most dreary examples of International architecture in the country. It's side profile is ok but the whole design is awkward. The podium is horrific and doesn't meet the tower very well. I doubt it will even be taken down though as it was Edmonton's first skyscraper.

It has to be reskinned in the near future. I personally love it. Driving up MacDonald drive and seeing it at the end of 100 Street has always been a treat.
