Imagine it with Montreal style shopping and cafés, and Rodeo Drive style people. You'd be laughing. (unfortunately, neither is likely to happen).

Likely within the next 2-3 years. Replacement ice rinks start construction later this year near Scott Rd Station.

The traffic in that picture is definitely an anomoly. Usually traffic is light on University, but it was bad yesterday afternoon because King George was closed both ways between 105th and 102nd avenues. Whalley Blvd was also basically a parking lot in both directions.

Closer-ups from today (Oct 19).

You can really notice the difference in quality between the Hotel and Condo/Office side. The Office/Condo glass seems to have a darker tint to it and higher quality. Spandrel also looks better, not sure if its just because it's not as wide or if it's actually different.

The spandrel color is awful, though.

Traffic yesterday was because they effectively shut down King George between 102 and 105 due to some accident or Police incident. Caused everyone to have to divert to University/Whalley Boulevard to go North/South.
