It already is if you look closely and I took that on September 20th. They should have added two more floors since then.

Thanks! They are from our place, the tallest penthouse in Metrotown. Check this thread for many more pictures from our quite unique view.

Very cool Klazu, I take it you're in the Sovereign building. Might I be bold enough to request some inside pictures of your place. Wouldn't have to be anything too intrusive, maybe just a interior shot of the windows. I think many of us would be curious to see how it looks.

I'm in Metroplace actually. The highest floor on both buildings is at a very similar height, however Metroplace is slightly uphill from Sovereign and I feel like looking down when I looking that way, but I might be imagining things.

I will be posting some photos later on also from inside in the Metroplace thread. Keep an eye on that every now and then.

Starting to like the east side of this tower more than the west. The horizontal rows of balconies and clean rectangular form. This shape will be emphasized even more-so once the roof is complete.

Yes, the "back" side of the tower looks a lot better than the cheap mess the plaza side has turn out to be.

^ The glass actually looks quite high quality on the Condo and Office portions. I'm assuming you've never seen it in person.

No, when I'm in Vancouver I don't visit Surrey.

There are no words to quantify the staggeringly immeasurable loss that is to Surrey.

He's just part of the Surrey Defense League. He used to call me a redneck, now he makes borderline racist statements about me being Mexican.

Insulting your location is his bread and butter. He said the north shore was like Tacoma after I said Surrey was like Tacoma. Really goes for the jugular

PS this building is looking nicer now. There's my pleasant statement about Surrey for the month.
