Oh christ, I didn't even see the part about it fitting in in Vancouver... its three times wider than the widest skyscraper on the downtown peninsula. If you're bitching and moaning about it not fitting in in Calgary when it's surrounded by similar scaled buildings, I'm pretty sure you'd blow out a fucking O-ring if you saw it completely dwarfing everything in dt Van in both width and height.

All you need to do is give one second of thought before barfing a bunch of nonsense on to a public forum man. I'm not sure if you're capable of that level of self realization (judging by years of watching you spew self-righteous bilge all over this declining forum), but it's worth a try. I can lend you a couple clonazepam if you like.

One and a half times its current height is 590 meters. If you meant 50% taller, you could have said that. Regardless, you're most definitely a fucking idiot, posting baiting nonsensical bullshit like that. Get over yourself. 1.5 x 236 m = 354 m

The Bow would look good tucked into the CBD around Georgia, behind those two black towers with the white borders. There's a bit more glass there.

The Bow is a massive building and I eluded to that in a post a while back that there needed to be some more built up area around it to look more at home in downtown Calgary. That's my opinion.

As far as the Bow in Vancouver - it might work better as the core of the city is much larger than Calgary's. As an example, BC Place Stadium is a massive structure obviously, and with the masts is around 300' tall, and it is pretty well absorbed by the densely built up surroundings. That being said, I'm not sure I would a huge structure like that given its main feature... green glass. We have enough of that.
