Makes me sad knowing others react to the poles here the same I did in that Ottawa townhouse view.

The photos posted in the Miscellaneous thread definitely made it look stunning inside. I'd like to even visit it on my next trip to Montreal. Hopefully by then something will be built in the parking lot at the back to cover its' ugly side.

It most certainly is. Dressed as Kazakh nobility after a recent trip to the homeland of Borat.

Such a pity - he looks like he'd be hot if he was sane and had a nose.

What kind of sad and pathetic Canada's Ugliest list is this?! It doesn't even have any Residences Soleil in it!

They did however find another amazing ugly building from just outside Quebec city.

Saw this going into the bank after work. It's so suiting that the double parked dually belongs to a guy named Gino.

I just checked out the double parking Wikipedia page and on the the example photos of multi-space parking is of a Ford Mustang at Vaughan Mills! Being in Vaughan, there's a high chance the driver's name being Gino! Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_parking

One of the worst company names out there. Anybody who lives in or has visited Stratford, ON has seen these buildings which have been around for awhile:

There is FAG bearings and FAG Aerospace. It's a German company I believe and is supposed to be F.A.G. but they don't write is out that way and either way it is just ridiculous in having like that in North America. Somebody told me that the name may be changing soon or has already changed but I'm not sure.

Totally disagree. FAG has been in Stratford for decades, and the name is a non-issue. People spell it out when they refer to it, though I've noticed that older people tend to use the name "Fischer Bearings," which is how the company launched here in 1953. Not sure when or how the name changed to FAG.

I expect visitors might find it startling if they happen to get lost in an industrial part of town and come across one of the plants, but nobody in Stratford cares about the name in the slightest. Having lived here for a while now, I've never actually heard any untoward talk or jokes about the name, but I suspect that guffawing at it or trying to turn it into a punchline would be deemed about as unfunny as someone going to town on a friend with the name "Mike Hunt," i.e. it would be pretty juvenile.

Don't get me wrong, I've got a completely juvenile sense of humour myself, but even I've got standards. Mostly.

Oh come on! You sound like the old guy named Dick I worked with who was completely oblivious about all the awkward and hilarious double entendres that would come up all the time.
