On the Calgary front I present to you Campus Suites Calgary's motel village horror!

And it appears City Council is giving it the green light.

P.S. I think this thing wins the award for worst rendering I have ever seen.

Well I certainly know what I'll be doing the next time I visit Edmonton!

Edmonton River Valley 90-Minute Segway Adventure

Apparently it's one of the top 10 things to do on Trip Advisor.

It's hilariously bad. On the smaller version I didn't even notice they clone-stamped a couple pictures of trees in there for some reason.

Oh, Segway Tours. They are offered everywhere and anywhere but, I've seldom seen anyone on a Segway

Well, It's a private student dorm. It's too bad this one is so tall.

Would taking a Segway tour of Okotoks be something that's currently offered...?

Keep it up and you guys might end up managing to attract me and my tourist dollars to Alberta.

I still cannot believe this actually exists. The rest of Le Mount Stephen hotel looks really nice but the backside is the pits.

Le Mount Stephen hotel - Montreal

It's funny their website doesn't even use a real exterior shot.

Looking at it some more it seems like the front facade didn't turn out the same either. It appears they made all the windows smaller which made the pattern harder to see.

These are two buildings I distinctly recall from my trip a month ago:

Ottawa townhomes....mustard, relish or ketchup anyone?

Good 'ol New Brunswick. A truck stop with a casino next door.....I was at that Tims twice on my trip...fairly unpleasant washrooms.

It's unfortunate because apparently, the hotel is top notch.

The view the Ottawa cubes have at the back over the 417 isn't too charming either...
