The Bay Redevelopment (Wehwehneh):
-Conversion of the old Hudson’s Bay building into 300 affordable apartments, 2 restaurants, a health centre, a child-care facility, a senior’s centre, an art gallery, and office space.

-Renovation of the old Winnipeg Hotel into a new Boutique Hotel
-Restoration of the building’s facade started about a month ago
-This building is the oldest building in downtown Winnipeg, built in 1873, the same year that Winnipeg was incorporated.

-Former Wawanesa building has been bought by Manitoba Metis Federation. The building will now have MMF offices and a child-care centre.

-The building has been enclosed with interior work now starting. The building is expected to be finished by July 2024.

-Two towers on a podium: The first tower is an 18-story hotel and the second tower is a 13-story residential tower with 130 apartments.
