Seeing these latest photos, I'm pretty sure that I was wrong: they look to be concrete after all. Still seems an odd choice, but there you go.

Thanks.
Agreed that it's an odd choice - especially since they are such skinny beams.
I wonder what the life of them will be and what the costs for the strata will be to maintain them?

I assume they did it correctly, so they should last for 100's of years (more likely to be demolished than fall apart), and maintenance would be minimal: just the paint like the rest of the tower. Also, they are much bigger than any of the photos show.

Thanks for the pics. Looks like the balcony railings are going in on the west side of the building. Hard to believe that it will be done by July.

Just got a letter from SOLO. Says they will start closing in the late summer and that this process can take up to 4-5 months in total...I'm assuming they usually move in residents on the lower floors first. So those on the upper floors (ie. 30+) likely won't be moving in until the fall?

Yeah, that's normally how it is. However I wonder what they actually meaning by late summer.. so probably not until August or September for first move ins. So if they're saying the whole thing is going to take 4-5 months, I don't see people moving in past 30th until late Oct/November or so..

Great pics. I'm trying to imagine those same views in about another year.

They are taking their sweet time to complete the second tower. No visible progress since weeks.

Should be noted that the first photo was taken May 8th, and the second, April 27th.
