I've found there's been a lot more Montreal than Toronto lately..

Beauty shot of St. John's. I can't wait until Fortis, 351 and Deacon are done. Swing the camera a little more west and take a similar picture in a year or two. I'm very excited for it.

Here is my personnal top five skylines for cities of 500k and under. After reading this whole thread and seeing the numerous photos you guys posted, it helped me to make up my mind on this important issue.

1- Halifax
2- Victoria
3- Regina
4- London
5- Saskatoon

My list would probably be the same except Regina will be #2 in a couple years once its new major office towers are all up and running.

And I'd probably put Windsor ahead of Saskatoon

So... for my list of 200 000 to 500 000 would be:
Halifax
Victoria
Regina
London
Windsor

All are pretty fantastic for their respective populations.

And I'd go as far as to say our skylines of 50 000 - 200 000 aren't bad either... I'd say...

Niagara Falls
Kelowna
Saint John
Nanaimo
Moncton

and to add a sixth... as some people may not consider Niagara Falls (Niagara region)... Kamloops!

I'd have to say mine are:

1. Oakville
2. Burlington
3. Collingwood
4. Cambridge
5. Happy Valley Goose Bay

(Obviously I'm kidding)

I'll take Quebec's skyline over Windsor anyday.

Edit: NVM, QC has over 500k. I need some sleep.

Winnipeg and London have a very similar natural setting, though I guess one of the most common spots for a city is in a flat area at the confluence of two rivers.

I guess they do kindof mesh. OLP would look awesome in Winnipeg's skyline and add a much needed touch that the city is lacking... but yeah.
