I’ve noticed that, even beyond Gravenhurst on the 11, there’s a sizeable town ~every 15 km, until North Bay.
As for 400/69, well… there’s pretty much nothing north of Port Severn until MacTier (~35 km later), and even then MacTier’s technically out of the way.
