Still not Downtown. There are none to find, nothing has been submitted yet - it's just general marketing, not an actual proposal.

Demo permits are still under review but a tree permit was issued today!

Some minor changes in September and they got a new CP in October. Seems like it's proceeding.

In accordance to Section 4.5 of the Zoning and Development By-law, your request is granted as follows:

1. Update floor level count from 5 to 7.
2. Two mezzanine levels counted as individual floors.
3. Addition of Vista Switch room.
4. Revision to parking layout.
5. Cladding revisions, and additional unit entries added to accommodate new demising walls.

Revision 2 - Change of CP from T.McAuley, Architect AIBC to S.Chui, P.Eng. effective October 25, 2024. - in review

The brash decision to demolish this single-family home, & start construction of 8 townhomes without securing any permits will see fines levied against the developer of the “Modern on Heather.” Yet, this fiscal cost may pale compared to the reputational damage.

Not sure where they went wrong with the demolition but they did seem to go through some aspect of the process..

The deconstruction shall be in accordance with the submitted deconstruction plan and to be confirmed through an acceptable Deconstruction Compliance Report form with copies of recycling and disposal facility receipts. Attach all receipts and submit by email to [email protected]. All deconstruction is to be completed to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning prior to the issuance of the building permit.
