They're not the most common snack anymore, the only place I see them here is vending machines.

They've always had Hickory sticks in AB. I didn't mind them though they were generally not a first choice. You usually found them in the same places you'd find Maynard's Wine Gums (which tasted like ass).

Blasphemy! I feel like I grew up on wine gums.

Also can confirm that hickory sticks were everywhere growing up in Alberta. I didn't really care for them except as a topping on hot dogs.

I just bought a bag of Hickory Sticks for the first time in a decade or two. They were as good as I remembered them.

I crave Smartfood. Does that disgust anyone?

Smartfood. Lol. I love how they marketed themselves as a healthier alternative to chips. I don't dislike smartfood but the only time I eat popcorn is if I'm watching a movie.

I've had to deal with that architectural conglomerate and it wasn't pleasant. It doesn't surprise me that they are in such an ugly building.

Stock Photo of White Guy Wins Conservative Leadership Race

I don't really know anything about Andrew Scheer and apparently no one else does either. Here's a pretty funny article from the Beaverton.

Although one might have views about the smiley face, I'm not sure why you posted that in this thread.

I can't tell if this is tacky or not, because I love it so much.

A tiny little house with all the trimmings of a (locally) upper class house, the white one at far right:

Does it read to outsiders like something with fake statues? Because half the people I've confessed I love this house to laugh at me. But it's the dream to me - even the location is perfect.

It looks fine to me. The beige cladding speaks to WASP aspirations, as opposed to the day-glo neighbours.

It's not bad. The rosettes in the door frame are over the top comedy though.
