Unfortunately, very few lots have disappeared during this recent development 'boom.' I guess they don't see the value in developing/ selling those properties...

I like that they got lazy partway through that render and only did like a quarter of the exiting buildings.

Also hoping Hamilton will see an Edmonton type fill in.

No kidding! I lived in the DTES in the early 90's and it has really gentrified since then.

It is but it's really a few square blocks that are still terrible now. Even north of there is cleaning up.

But yes, those few blocks are like hell but slowly gentrification like Sequel is taking place.
