They get nice views of all those parking lots. Dear lord, that's a lot of parking lots.
Unfortunately, very few lots have disappeared during this recent development 'boom.' I guess they don't see the value in developing/ selling those properties...

No kidding! I lived in the DTES in the early 90's and it has really gentrified since then.
