That is my favorite angle of Calgary taken at a beautiful time of year.

That bridge, the river, and the Bow all give it a real sense of character.

Anyways, here is an awesome photo of Metrotown posted on the Vancouver section. Metrotown is building a skyline that can rival that of many major cities.

Randomly woke up at 2:30, so I went for a drive after failing to fall asleep again. This is Edmonton at 4:45am. Minutes before sunrise. At 3:30 the sky was already getting light again, as can be seen in the second picture.

E Town in summer with the early sunrises and late sunsets are something really special. Wrapping up a round of golf at 11:00pm and waking up and doing some gardening on the patio at 5am....I love it.

i apologize for my seemingly egotistical posting of my own city, but i really want to share this rendering.

wayy more detailed than the other ones i posted thanks to the fact someone else downloaded the model and rendered it for me

i say we're looking pretty damn good.

btw that clagary shot is great! love the vivid summer colors and the view of the buildings that are visible.

Is it me or Montreal's skyline (not the city) is not very impressive from the air?

That's oje helluva an Edmonton shot! Ever since I got here I thought the skyline looked the best from the north.

To me it handles aerial shots better than most Canadian cities (I'd say Vancouver might be better).

The office core doesn't hold up very well because of comparisons to Calgary which actually has more large office buildings despite to being a fraction as populous. But in terms of smaller highrises and overall cityscape it does well.

Yeah it does! I've seen some shots of Toronto from the north to that are very impressive. Makes it look a lot more dense in my opinion than from the lake shots.

Seeing the traffic on the first picture, I got a question. :

I Wonder if the expansion and/or the growth of the Expressways net in the greater Calgary is being built as quick as the population is increasing
Do you guys, feel that every years traffic is getting worst ?
