The view in his first picture makes the Hazelton Hotel look like a dollhouse from this height.

We have a second super tall now! One Bloor might be knocked off the top spot by years end at this pace.

Indeed, it's location has made it one of the easier builds to get equipment, supplies, and workers to. This must have helped with the speed a lot.

Two of the other One Yonge proposals are slated to be about 300m, one just above, the other just below. Demolition for the South Block is already commencing, or close to.

Cross post from the skyline thread... given SkyTower has passed One Bloor West.

A view from the 100th floor (yes SkyTower is on 100) looking north to the (former) tallest building in Canada... yes SkyTower has now passed One Bloor West in height. Happy super-talls Canada.

To me this shot is reminiscent of how the ESB and WTC acknowledge each other from a distance in Manhattan.

Hard to imagine 804 feet of that cladding and over 1000 for the second tower. Saw it in person for the first time yesterday, and tons of people walking by looking up at it. It's looking amazing so far.
