Same situation -- it was taken from Tim Hortons Field during a game.

People did lawn parking for Canucks games pre-1995 too. Now you have to park several blocks away at the bottom of a tower.

Really like this shot. Just a few more skyscrapers need to start and Yorkville can swipe tallest skyline in the country title from the core.

It's older but the last Calgary pic makes downtown look MASSIVE. Partly the angle but it also cuts out the river and does a good job of hiding the rail corridor (downtown's hard boundaries).

+1, that's a great shot from a very convenient angle.

I would LOVE to see the exact shot today with EAP, Brookfield, Place10, 707 etc filling in some of the voids.
