Vancouver skyline with Canada Day fireworks. As seen from Metrotown, some 13 kilometers away.

I saw the show from Spanish Banks and it was quite difficult to choose which of the mirror-image displays I wanted to watch. The fireworks were clearer and closer off of West Van, but over downtown you got to see them bursting over the skyline.

Judging from EXIF data, it looks real.

From the Islands.

Ok , that's cool. Still looks like fireworks are going off in the gay village in the first picture.

Not the best picture from a moving plane.

I wished it was that simple Cold, driving the new car around this weekend I saw a similar issue on 137 ave someone missed the median and drove a block down the wrong way. Plus all the idiot on phones or changing lanes with out looking. Almost went back to the dealer to get the old car back. Hoping someone got photos of the city with the great storms around all weekend. some of the better clouds in a while.

Could be, like I said it's based off rumours I've heard. Logic tells me it should stop, but I don't know the whole story and what kind of financial or legal obligations Allied/Westbank has to continue.

As a little aside, a foreman would never tell a passerby the developer was thinking of capping the project even if they were though. The real estate industry is all about the outward facing positivity!

The pic above with all those vehicles in front of the houses deserves to be in the ugly Canada thread.
