Victoria airport fell to -0.4 this morning (even though no weather stations in the city proper froze), so Vancouver is the winner this year for the freeze list.

^ I would have lost that bet. I was sure we'd fall before Victoria.
We may see temps dip below 0C next week, but the forecast keeps changing. The mountains could sure use the snow.

I walked along East 8th St to Main St this morning. I got caught out in the rain.

A bit surprising yes.
Let's keep an eye on Tofino some years it doesn't freeze don't think.
It was almost always warmer than Victoria last winter.

The Halifax Dockyard station dropped to -0.2 this morning which I believe is its first subzero temp this fall. It's 3.2 and sunny at 10 am heading for a high of 7 today. TWN forecasts Halifax dipping below zero again on the night of the 29th and again on the night of Dec. 3rd. and there's a 60% chance of <1cm of snow on the 6th.

Quiet!! You are not to talk about that weather station! You are only to talk about the one 25 km out of town in the woods at 145 m higher elevation!

It’s the same for everyone.

As just mentioned above, the Victoria airport just froze, which isn’t located in Victoria, while none of the three weather stations actually in Victoria did.

Many weather stations in Vancouver, such as Vancouver Harbour, almost always freeze long after YVR’s first freeze.

Even in Kelowna the Kelowna airport by far has the coldest nights of any weather station that is or has ever been in and around Kelowna.

It’s just the way the cookie crumbles, but Halifax is by no means alone in this case.

On the bright side the inland effect of the airport in Halifax works in your favor for summer time heat.

Thank you for this response Halifax is famous for whining about this for ages. I called them out on this year's ago but it keeps happening.

+6C and raining in Moncton at 8 AM, going up to +8C this afternoon.

We are on the right (correct) side of the system that will give 50-60 cm of snow to northern Ontario and northwestern Quebec.

+10C tomorrow. No snow in our seven day long range forecast.

Back to dreary, wet (but at least moderate temperatures) November weather in London.

4C and foggy/misty. Rain started this afternoon. Must have been very strong downpour because the streets were rivers at 8:30 this evening.

Low of 2C this morning.

The warmspots were Vineland and St. Catharines/Niagara, ON at 12.5C.

Warmest low was Baccaro Point, NS at 9.2C.
