Yes, the CRU on West 2nd (at the lane) has been sold. An Engineering firm will be going in there.

CRU 3 (first one down Lonsdale from the corner) is for lease, and CRU6 (first one up from the "Mews" building) is also available. Also, while the bottom two spaces are listed as "Mr. Sushi" this should actually be a yet-to-be-name Izakaya style restaurant, by the owners of Mr. Sushi in Lynn Valley.

Korean Bistro 'maru' opened 2nd just east off Lonsdale. I believe it used to be a chocolate shop previously. The restaurant is surprisingly large and looks quite nice. Looking forward to trying it out.

2nd is turning out to be a nice restaurant row on the south side of it. Sushi Bella, the good and under appreciated Vietnamese place, now maru, the wood burning pizza place, and soon Browns Social House in the new building.

PS Just made a reservation heh
Il Castello was in the chocolate shop and the new Korean place is in the old Cheers. Historic Google Streetviews are a blessing

Thanks for the update. Good-looking first 4 floors, but the top 3 look like an afterthought.

Why do all the cities make the top floors of buildings set back and look different than the rest?? Would look so much better if the top 3 floors looked just like the bottom 4

"Reduces the bulk" etc.
100% agreed. This is my #1 design pet peeve that planning departments force on builders. Almost every interesting lowrise design in the City of Vancouver is dulled with a stupid little penthouse setback, and most midrises are pushed into a wedding cake design.

Little late on these, but thought I'd post them anyways. Getting closer, but still lots of finishing work to do at W&M

Hands down my favourite lowrise development in the city, probably the country.
