Here's a very rough outline of West Village Towers. I eyeballed the height based on Nexen which is a couple meters taller.

Didn't realize these towers would appear so far west. I love it - extend that skyline baby! And get some decent height in the west end.

Craner: Ya, I agree. Also, with a little luck.... Maybe West towers will eliminate one of the three towers and we might get a little more height out of the remaining two!!

I think just as important as building new tallest, the step up towers in Eau-Claire, EV, and even Beltline leading up to the core will add even more variety, depth, while all being of high quality design.

Eau-Claire alone, you can add the next phases of Waterfront with the ripple designs, 5 towers at Eau-Claire Market that look like diamonds, 7 other towers at the other mega project, those 2 super luxury towers by Concord, City Centre 1 & 2, Eau-Claire office tower etc plus the new tallest coming in the backdrop. The already fantastic skyline views up on Crescent Hill could become the best in the country.

That actually looks really good. Proportional and balances out the skyline like we hoped it might. The tower itself might be lacking by some measures but for its presence and place in the skyline, I really like it!

I added in Telus Sky, but I am not certain that BPW will be visible enough from this view to warrant being added (being hidden by Centennial). However, I noticed that Manulife will be quite noticeable from this view. I didn't add it yet though.

Cool, but it looks like based on the info we have that the second tier would be about as tall is it would be.

If that's what this tower will look like from a skyline perspective, i'm all for it. Extend the top fin, re-tweak the atrium/plaza, and we're good to go.

This is not a straight head-on north-south angle, and as such there would be more thickness to the building from this vantage - like there is for EAP, as an example.

If they do something (which I'm sure they will) to modernize Oxford a bit, something like Boris or Nick Flood suggested in the Oxford tower thread I think it will be a lot better. I like it's shape in the skyline but want it to look sleeker and less 1980's oil barony.
