^^^ Alright, this boom officially has my head spinning. Like it takes a lot for me to start losing track of things, but the West Loop alone has like ten projects that all blend together.

This rings more true with every passing year. I was saying years ago that there will be a day in the not too distant future where a surface lot is a rare opportunity to fight over, not a widespread pesteleance on our city. Just look at the West Loop which seems to be developing at a pace to wipe out all vacant land between Racine and the freeway by 2025. There is going to be about a dozen cranes up by the end of the year in the West Loop alone.

I dont see that. The surface lots will just start disappear ing farther west until highrises connect from chicago to oak park 80 years from now. "Bubble effect".
