No point raising it when they are still at the bottom of the pit. Spoke to a Bellai guy and he said the crane was broken and couldn't be repaired in place. He also said they managed to change it out for another in just a day which is impressive. Bottom slab now poured and they start the long process of building up 500+ feet of concrete. Curious to see what happens when the ice returns this winter.

Seems slowly progressing compared to picture posted on september 12th last month. What is that blue thing standing?

It is used to pour cement through the columns.

Well, seeing as this pit is what, at least 5 storeys deep, and most of it was solid rock, I guess it's not so bad. Maybe they will have 1-2 levels done before Christmas time...

It's certainly more than 5 storeys deep, apparently there will be at least 10 floors of parking down there.

Work is progressing at a snail's pace though. You just have to observe the small handful of workers on site. Perhaps Claridge is buying time till the condo market picks up in a few years, and until then they can say the tower is "under construction" haha.
