We've got tons of those drive-thru only Rimmies here in London.
I never got why everyone loves Tim Hortons. It all tastes abysmal. Toronto doesn’t have that many drive-thru only Whoretons but we do have our fair share of normal ones. Starbucks is much more popular up here.

Not to mention the stuff across the street.

Which brings me to my second least favourite area of Oakville starting with my second least favourite buildings.

But would any post about Oakville ugly’s be complete without Speers Road?

Oakville is funny. For such a wealthy place, it has a disproportionate share of fugly commie blocks and tetris-style post-post-post modernist garbage. I am always amazed when I visit (my Mom lives in Oakville, so I am there about once a month). Still much nicer than adjacent Milton, which competes with Laval and Longueuil (and Mississauga) for King of the Fuglies in Central Canada.

Yeah Oakville is odd. Personally I think Mississauga is worse than Milton because it has more 90s McMansions and Postmodernist “castle” condos, like this.

The Le St Martin Hotel in Laval is a rather ugly building (although not the worst Laval has to offer by any means).

If you want to go to a tacky place head to Blackpool, UK. or the ultimate in Americana kitsch, Branson, Missouri
You can’t really knock the town itself though. Just because you visited in a record setting heatwave while the smokepocalypse was taking place doesn’t really mean the town itself is ugly. It has hilarious tourist shops with maple syrop (there are no maple trees in Alberta) and plush mooses, but that’s standard fare for any International Canadian tourist spot.

Edit: as for overpriced food there’s a place called Clive Burger we ate at and ended up paying 60$ for some burgers and fries. I’ve never been so pissed off at a bill before. They tacked on ridiculous extras for every topping.

^sad. reminds me of London's City Plaza (or Galleria, or whatever the fark they call it now). basically a dead mall, which killed street retail before it died. Two deaths, you could say. More coming soon, what with all the loitering skanky methmouths walking around the place like a scene from "Dawn of the Dead" (1978)

Citi Plaza (it’s named after the bank) is one of the more depressing malls I have set foot in.

I believe the Westmount Shopping Center in London is also dead, but I could be wrong.

The Honeydale Mall is flat out abandoned.

In the case of that Calgary location, they clearly had more than enough land to build a bigger building than that. Actually the parking seems ridiculously oversized, given no one will be parking to enter and eat/drink/read the paper in there.

I try to avoid Tim Horton's as much as possible now; I used to get coffee there occasionally (when on the road), not anymore.

Looks like there might be a small dining area to me. At the very least it looks like you can walk in and order. Overall it is ridiculous though.

If O-taculars Clockzilla photoshops are anything to go by Mississauga City Hall is already a staple of the Ugly Canada Thread. But I just drove by it and man that buildings hideous.

Speaking of malls. 10 Dundas East in Toronto is very hated for being a giant vehicle for advertising. Personally I very much dislike it. Fun fact even the architect hates it.

The inside is depressing, but due to its path stop it is very far from dead. It’s main tenants are Cineplex and Shoppers Drug Mart.

stevanford1, are you trying to get us to download a virus from the Honeydale Mall link?

Is it too hard for you to post the actual images in the thread?
