Since the new rendering also shows the new--and actual--design of the Evo (it's no longer called the Grove), it's probably safe to assume that this is also the latest design of the Walnut tower. And given that the Chestnut tower (the Evo) is taller than
its original conceptual renderings, it would make sense that the Walnut tower also would now be taller, to maintain the same rough relative proportion to the Chestnut tower. At least that's the way I see it.
Also, isn't the current plan to include both office and hotel/residential space in the Walnut tower? 150,000 square feet for FMC and 100,000 square feet for Penn as anchor tenants, however many square feet of additional office space, plus hotel/residential space, and all on a relatively small footprint, would add up to some fairly significant height, it seems to me.
