35 stories... Wouldn't that make cira south walnut more in the 550-600 range rather than 600+? I'll bet kidphilly is on point with the sub600 call.

So does this new rendering (quoted below) mean that Cira South has more or less regained the height of its original design - since the rendering also shows the modified Grove design that's being built now - or does Brandywine intend to stick with the shortened version of Cira South that's currently shown in this thread's thumbnail image?

Since the new rendering also shows the new--and actual--design of the Evo (it's no longer called the Grove), it's probably safe to assume that this is also the latest design of the Walnut tower. And given that the Chestnut tower (the Evo) is taller than its original conceptual renderings, it would make sense that the Walnut tower also would now be taller, to maintain the same rough relative proportion to the Chestnut tower. At least that's the way I see it.

Also, isn't the current plan to include both office and hotel/residential space in the Walnut tower? 150,000 square feet for FMC and 100,000 square feet for Penn as anchor tenants, however many square feet of additional office space, plus hotel/residential space, and all on a relatively small footprint, would add up to some fairly significant height, it seems to me.

Looks like there are about 22 of the big floors and 24 of the smaller ones.If the large ones are 15' and the small ones are 10' plus the crown being about 40', I come up with around 610'

Move in for the Evo is scheduled for August 2014

That building is moving quick! Studios and one bedrooms will be in the $1500 to $1700 range. There are 28 different floor plans in total ranging from studios to four bedrooms. NO UNDERGRADS ALLOWED. All units will come completely furnished and include utilities in the rent.

They have a really awesome virtual tour set up in the leasing office. It's basically a wall on four sides, one wall is a door. You enter and shut it. Each wall is a projection screen and there are four projectors and they project renderings of each floor plan as well as the fitness center and the rooftop pool onto the walls and can walk you through the space. It is really a brilliant idea for leasing while the building is still under construction. Apparently this is only the second "Cube" as they call it in existence in the world, and the first one in the U.S. The company that developed it is from the Netherlands.

The fun thing is if you're one of the first leasers of the EVO you get a bonus: Free construction noise going on at the Chestnut site for your entire 1 year lease! Having lived next to 2116 as it went up... I can say from experience it can be very annoying.
