I haven't been over in Harbour Landing lately - is there any development going on at the corner of Parliament & Harbour Landing Drive? (Tutor Way on the south side)

Can anyone confirm if servicing is happening to the new movie theatre on the east side near the bypass? Looks like lots of foundation work is happening for the Costco, but it's hard to tell if anything is going on where the theatre is supposed to go.

Anyone have pics of the commercial development (progress) in the Greens on Gardiner where the Save-On Foods is going...with DQ, BP's, McDonald's, etc.

As far as I can recall, the City has not even approved the theatre yet.

Cantebury Gardens

Does anyone know what's going up in Canterbury Gardens? I noticed a steel structure is going up beside the retirement home. At one point they were trying to sell units in one of those co-living type buildings but that never seemed to get enough interest so don't think it is that.

Corner of Parliament, no, but there's 3 large steel structures coming up on Harbour Landing Drive/Tutor Way.

The co-housing says it's under construction but I haven't been by in a while.

No pics but when I drove by a few weeks ago the steel structure for save on was up and the exterior was being put on. The coop gas bar was also put up and closed in. As was another smaller building but not sure what is going in it yet.

Interesting, thanks.

I think this is the first time I've actually seen public confirmation of Metro Liquor's location in writing. I believe we'd long assumed it would be in the east - presumably Acre21 - but hadn't seen it in writing (and MetroLiquor has said nothing publicly).

Anyone heard anything further about Bison Liquor in Golden Mile? Who's behind it? Timelines, etc. I'm assuming that new licences aren't being issued, so this has to be an existing entity (e.g.: a relocated Bonzinni's off-sale & pub - I can't imagine this is a 14,000sqft stand-alone liquor store with the LB, Sobeys, Willow Park & a couple off-sales already within a 5min drive).

Well I confirmed it 6 months ago.

Bison Liquor is the same people (+ partners) as Bison Properties who won the Jysk space which is also a Bison Liquor. And yes, both are relocations of off-sale licences.

SGI just announced it is moving some departments around its locations in the city. One part of it is they are planning on moving some departments to the Harbour Landing Business Park.

Sorry, should have said public confirmation by MetroLiquor, or their landlord

Bison Liquor is also opening in the (old) Jysk space on Quance (next to Leo's)? That seems like an excellent location - plenty of reasonably high-density residential within walking distance, hotels nearby, and lots of parking (and away from the core of the Quance cluster#&!). So Garth Fredrickson & company, eh? Have you heard a timeline on opening these locations (and closing existing locations)?

Yup, that would be the one I saw as well. Don't think any others are under construction, but will have to drive by again.

Wasn't there rumours of a Popeye's Chicken opening out there too? Or has that fallen through?

I know this has been asked before but I can't seem to find it, what is going into the new building beside DSW in Harbour Landing?

Structube. A Canadian retailer of contemporary and modern furniture.

Their website says that there is a store coming soon to "4890 Gordon Road, Richardson, Saskatchewan S0G 4G0".

No, I don't think Richardson is getting the new store. They had better correct this before they open or people will be heading down Highway 33!

That’s probably a Canada Post thing. The closest rural post office to Regina would be Richardson.

Popeyes Chicken is going into the back half of the former Arby's building on the corner of Albert and 1st Ave North.
