1. Winning solves most problems in sport. And I'm not sure their plan involves targeting major free agents anyway unless you count Josh Donaldson who will be one soon enough.
The turf is an issue. It's harder to play on in some ways and from a fan perspective, it looks like sh*t. This I don't understand. With all the wonders of the modern world, why can't someone create a kind of turf that doesn't look ridiculous on a baseball field.
2. Nobody prefers Oakland to anything anywhere - nobody.
